As its name indicates, the main peculiarity of this wine is its permanence in a 900-liter clay jar, a container in which it remains for a year during its aging. Thanks to the porosity of this material, the amphora allows the tannins to stabilize and polish. A small-production red wine that reveals a fruitier side of Petit Verdot, with a very suggestive mineral touch.
