The origins of Parmigiano Reggiano date back to the Middle Ages, when the high milk production of the Parma area was exploited in the Benedictine monasteries to produce this tasty cheese. Even today the ingredients are the precious Parmesan milk, natural rennet and salt, without additives. This cream is made with Parmigiano Reggiano PDO.
Creamy sauce based on Parmigiano Reggiano PDO. Excellent for dressing pasta-based first courses or for garnishing meat-based main dishes.Ideal with fettuccine, the cream is ready to be poured directly over freshly drained pasta. To improve the quality of the ingredients, it is recommended to mix well before use. For an even creamier consistency, heat the cream over low heat and add the pasta cooking water. It is also excellent for making risotto. Try it also with croutons.
