The Pillitteris are a family of Sicilian origin who immigrated to Canada in the 1940s. In 1965 Gary Pillitteri and his wife bought a small farm in Niagara on the Lake, where they grew fruit. Finally in the 1990s they planted vineyards and founded a winery, becoming one of the references in the area.
Sweet wines such as Pillitteri have aromas of candied fruit and honey, creating a perfect match for desserts.
