They live in freedom in the Juan Pedro Domecq pastures in the Sierra de Huelva, feeding on what nature provides them with, especially acorns, which they eat during the almost 4 months of the "montanera" period of which disfrutan.Los 100% Iberian acorn-fed hams are elaborated and cured in a totally artisanal and natural way in the Juan Pedro Domecq cellars for an average of 42 months. All our hams have an individualized and constant follow-up, which allows us to guarantee the quality and homogeneity of our 100% Iberian Bellota Hams, weighing between 6kg and 8.5kg.Juan Pedro Domecq 100% Iberian Acorn-fed Ham has won in 2020 one of the so-called "Oscars" of the Food Industry as the Best Delicatessen Product of the year and has been selected within the so-called "Top 50", the best gourmet products of the year, all this according to the "Great Taste Awards" the most prestigious annual gourmet food contest in Great Britain.
