Artisanjam made from Canary Island cactus (tunera or pitera, in the Peninsula prickly pear). Its delicate fruit, the red Indian prickly pear, is perhaps one of the most complicated and expensive fruits to harvest. It contains 65% fruit, and a touch of sour strawberry to counteract the sweetness of the fig. Ideal for breakfasts, with foies, accompanying cheeses, as a base for red sauces for meats and in pastry and confectionery elaborations.

Ayanto jams are natural and artisan, made with fresh fruits grown in the Canary Islands, thanks to its climate and a privileged land for cultivation. Thus, in Ayanto they have collected and selected five of the best tropical fruits of the islands to make jams following the old recipe of a German emigrant who one day arrived in Tenerife. Ayanto makes five flavors of jam: papaya, mango, cactus, banana and fig. All of them are very delicate fruits grown entirely on the islands, which allows them to ripen until the optimum moment. In the kitchen they are treated with extreme delicacy, and the jams are thermally packed at the moment when they reach the perfect cooking point and texture. The proportions are 65% fruit to 35% sugar, giving rise to an exquisite flavor and aroma. Excellent for pastry and confectionery, to combine with foie, to give color and create surprising pairings in cheese boards. Very versatile in sauce bases, in short, jams to enjoy in the kitchen.
